KE$HA Guest Hosts American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest This Weekend

LOS ANGELES, January 5, 2011 - Platinum recording artist Ke$ha will guest host American Top 40 this weekend, January 8 and 9. In addition to counting down the Top 40 songs, Ke$ha will answer questions directly from fans, spin music from her #1 album Animal, and talk about what it's like to spend every week of 2010 on the Top 40 chart, in addition to having the #1 song of 2010 on the AT40 CHR chart, "TiK ToK."

Ke$ha adds radio host to her growing resume which includes selling more than two million copies of her debut album Animal, as well as 14 million combined tracks and ringtones in the U.S. and 17 million worldwide. In addition to being nominated for three American Music Awards, two MTV Europe Music Awards - she won for "Best New Act", and four MTV U.S. Music Awards, Ke$ha had a total of six Top 40 hits in 2010, including her single "TiK ToK," which was certified five-times platinum and was one of the top sellers of 2010. Ke$ha's latest single, "We R Who We R," from her new album Cannibal, is already a smash single.
