Don Martin Promoted to SVP, Sports Programming for Premiere Networks
LOS ANGELES, January 9, 2012 - Premiere Networks announced today the promotion of Don Martin to the newly-created position of Senior Vice President, Sports Programming from Vice President/GM of FOX Sports Radio. Based in Los Angeles, Martin will continue to report to Julie Talbott, president, content and affiliate relations.
In this new position, Martin will oversee all sports programming and operations for Premiere Networks, the leading audio content provider in the U.S., as well as the FOX Sports Radio Network. Martin will remain in his post as General Manager/Program Director of AM 570 FOX Sports LA/KLAC.

Martin joined Premiere Networks in 2009 as Vice President/General Manager of the FOX Sports Radio Network, while also serving as General Manager/Program Director of AM 570 KLAC/Los Angeles. During his tenure, the network reached an all-time high of more than 400 affiliates and was further solidified as the premiere destination for sports audio entertainment. Prior to joining FSR, Martin spent six years at AM 570 where he oversaw the merger of AM 690/1150 and was then responsible for moving XTRA Sports 690/1150 to 570 - one of the strongest signals in Los Angeles. A radio veteran, Martin previously served as program director of 850 KOA in Denver, Colo. Under his supervision, the station was recognized with Marconi Awards and was named "Station of the Year" five years in a row by the National Association of Broadcasters.
