"Costas on the Radio" Preview - Weekend of May 31st - June 1st, 2008


LOS ANGELES, May 29, 2008 - Tune in to Costas on the Radio this weekend to hear interviews with the following guests:

David Stern - the NBA Commissioner will discuss the state of the NBA, including the championship series, the debate on increasing the minimum age requirement from 18 to 20, and the possible relocation of the Seattle SuperSonics to Oklahoma City.

Bobby Murcer - the New York Yankees broadcaster will discuss his autobiography, "Yankee for Life: My 40-Year Journey in Pinstripes," as well as his battle with cancer.


Costas on the Radio is a two-hour weekend show hosted by Bob Costas and features conversations with newsmakers and significant figures from sports and other walks of life, as well as Costas' own commentaries and observations. The program is nationally syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on more than 210 stations including KLAC/Los Angeles, KNBR/San Francisco, WEEI/Boston, WPEN/Philadelphia, WTEM/Washington, D.C., and WDFN/Detroit.
