"Costas on the Radio" Preview - Weekend of June 20th-21st, 2008

LOS ANGELES, June 20, 2008 - This weekend, Costas on the Radio will feature an interview Costas conducted last year with the late Tim Russert - political analyst, author, managing editor and moderator of MSNBC's Meet the Press, and anchor of CNBC's The Tim Russert Show. Costas will also welcome Hall of Fame third baseman and Philadelphia Phillies legend, Mike Schmidt.


Costas on the Radio is a two-hour weekend show hosted by Bob Costas and features conversations with newsmakers and significant figures from sports and other walks of life, as well as Costas' own commentaries and observations. The program is nationally syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on more than 210 stations including KLAC/Los Angeles, KNBR/San Francisco, WEEI/Boston, WPEN/Philadelphia, WTEM/Washington, D.C., and WDFN/Detroit.
