"Costas on the Radio" Preview - Weekend of June 28th-29th, 2008


LOS ANGELES, June 27, 2008 - This weekend, Costas on the Radio will welcome the following guests:

  • Fay Vincent - former MLB Commissioner and author of We Would Have Played for Nothing: Baseball Stars of the 1950s and 1960s Talk About the Game They Loved

  • George F. Will - famed writer/political commentator and author of One Man's America: The Pleasures and Provocations of Our Singular Nation


  • Costas will also feature highlights from an interview he conducted last year with the late George Carlin, legendary comedian and actor.


    Costas on the Radio is a two-hour weekend show hosted by Bob Costas and features conversations with newsmakers and significant figures from sports and other walks of life, as well as Costas� own commentaries and observations. The program is nationally syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks on more than 220 stations including KLAC/Los Angeles, KNBR/San Francisco, WEEI/Boston, WIOD/Miami, WPEN/Philadelphia, WTEM/Washington, D.C., and WDFN/Detroit.
