Kansas City, July 7, 2008 - Debuting July 14, The Glenn Beck Program will return to the Kansas City airwaves on NewsRadio 980 KMBZ, airing weekdays from 9 to 11 a.m. CT. The Glenn Beck Program is the third highest-rated national radio talk show in America and has grown 12% over the past year in the key Adults 25-54 demographic. (see below source)

Beck stated, "I've been spending my off-time personally calling each individual citizen of Kansas City to explain my opinions, however, reaching the entire city at once through KMBZ is a much better option. I'm excited to be joining a great radio station at a great time, and I look forward to saving on my long distance bill."

Neil Larrimore, KMBZ-AM Program Director says, "Glenn has been out of the KC Metro for way too long! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase his program live on our weekday schedule!"

NewsRadio 980 KMBZ is the latest in a series of major-market radio stations to add "The Glenn Beck Program" in the past few months.

About Glenn Beck
In addition to being a leading radio personality, Glenn Beck is the host of a hugely successful self-titled television show on Headline News; the publisher of "Fusion," a monthly magazine that boasts tens of thousands of subscribers; a contributor to ABC's Good Morning America; and a #1 New York Times best-selling author of "An Inconvenient Book: Real Solutions to the World’s Biggest Problems." Making his radio debut 30 years ago at the age of 13, he was a successful Top 40 DJ for many years. However, by the age of 30, Beck lost his passion for radio due to his alcoholism and drug addiction. Upon gaining sobriety, he discovered his enthusiasm for talk radio, and took his career in a new direction. Eventually, he assumed the 18th position time slot at WFLA-AM in Tampa, Florida, and took it to the #1 position in his first year, giving the station its highest ratings ever. Within 18 months, Premiere Radio Networks offered Beck the opportunity to go national. In Jan. 2002, The Glenn Beck Program debuted on 47 stations. Today, the show is heard on more than 300 stations and on XM Satellite Radio.
