Big D and Bubba Producer Patrick Thomas Welcomes Baby Girl

--Country Artist Jimmy Wayne Attempts To Fill In For Thomas--

LOS ANGELES, February 25, 2009 - Patrick Thomas, executive producer of The Big D and Bubba Show, and his wife Allison welcomed a baby girl to the world yesterday. Evangeline Elise weighed in at 6 lbs. 1 oz. and stretched 19 inches. Mom and baby are doing great.

Thomas left Big D and Bubba in great hands today. Country artist Jimmy Wayne filled in as temporary executive producer and was charged with setting up guests for the show, including waking up John Hall, of Hall and Oates, for his scheduled interview. Wayne also surprised the guys with a call to a "famous" ice cream parlor in his hometown of Gaston, N.C. Luckily, Patrick will return from baby duty soon and Wayne can return to singing.
