Steve Harvey Sits Down with Oprah This Friday to Discuss His #1 NY Times Best Seller


WHO: Steve Harvey - host of the nationally syndicated radio program The Steve Harvey Morning Show, best-selling author and comedian.

WHAT: Following appearances on Ellen, CBS' The Early Show, NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien, CNN Newsroom, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet and others, Harvey will sit down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss his #1 New York Times Best-Selling book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.

The widely-acclaimed book, which has remained at #1 on the New York Times Best-Seller list for four consecutive weeks since its debut, is Harvey's ultimate guide for dealing with men on their terms, on their turf and in their way. He shares the secrets to unlocking the male mind, understanding his game, anticipating his moves and countering with unstoppable offense and defense.

About Steve Harvey
Harvey began doing stand-up comedy in the mid-1980s. His success as a stand-up comedian led to a WB network show, The Steve Harvey Show, which ran from 1996 to 2002 and was a huge hit, winning multiple NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series and one for Outstanding Comedy Series. In 1997, Harvey continued his work in stand-up comedy, touring as one of the Kings of Comedy, along with Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley and Bernie Mac. The comedy act would later be featured in the film by Spike Lee called The Original Kings of Comedy. Steve Harvey is now widely known as the host of The Steve Harvey Morning Show. Syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks, the program is heard on more than 60 radio stations with almost 7 million weekly listeners, and it's the number-one rated syndicated morning show in the top 50 metro markets with Persons 18-34, 18-49, and Women 25-54 (Source: Arbitron, FA'08, Top 50 Metro Markets, Exact Times, AQH).
