LOS ANGELES, May 22, 2009 - Tune in to Costas on the Radio this weekend to hear an interview with award-winning New York Times Columnist William C. Rhoden.
Rhoden authored Forty Million Dollar Slaves: The Rise, Fall, and Redemption of the Black Athlete and Third and a Mile: The Trials and Triumph of the Black Quarterback, and wrote the HBO documentaries Breaking the Huddle: The Integration of College Football and Journey of the African-American Athlete - for which he won a Peabody Award for Broadcasting.
Costas on the Radio is a two-hour weekend show hosted by Bob Costas and features conversations with newsmakers and significant figures from sports and other walks of life, as well as Costas' own commentaries and observations.
