Charles Barkley on Tiger Woods Press Conference: "That's Not Cool At All"

LOS ANGELES, February 18, 2010 - FOX Sports Radio's Myers & Hartman welcomed TNT Inside the NBA analyst and former NBA star Charles Barkley today. The avid golfer agreed with Ernie Els' opinion that Tiger Woods is being selfish by holding a press conference on Friday, Feb. 19, during the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.

Barkley: "I one hundred percent agree with Ernie."

Myers: "Oh, ok. Well that's cool."

Barkley: "I think there's nothing he can say that..you know what? Listen...The one thing that I would say is...I'm not talking about the fans, I'm not talking about the press, because they go whether you win or lose or like that. You need to try to do a really good job of never alienating your players, your peers, and to do this press conference in the middle of a big tournament, I agree with Ernie. That's not cool at all."

Barkley also said he never played on a team as good as the current Lakers...

Barkley: "I don't want to bad mouth anybody I've played with, but it's just a fact. I don't think I've played with a guy as good as Pau Gasol. I don't think I've played with a center as good as Andrew Bynum. I don't think I played with a guy as good as Lamar Odom. And it pisses me off as a guy who never won a championship to have guys that talented that just go through the motions. It drives me damn nuts."
