--Music's #1 Radio Host Adds Countdown of the Top 5 Most Popular Songs to His Daily Nationally Syndicated Show--

LOS ANGELES, March 16, 2010 - Ryan Seacrest, music's number one radio host in the U.S. with a weekly worldwide audience estimated at more than 20 million, announced today he will add a daily countdown of the "American Top 5" songs to the third hour of the nationally syndicated On Air with Ryan Seacrest beginning March 29. Listeners will be encouraged to call 1-877-811-RYAN or visit and vote for their top 5 songs. The results, in combination with the Mediabase charts, will determine the American Top 5. CHR and Hot AC versions of the countdown will be made available to affiliates.

Seacrest is host of two of the most famous countdowns in radio and television - the hugely successful American Top 40 radio show and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest television program - and now he brings that same tradition to his daily national radio program. After launching nearly two years ago on 50 radio stations, the widely-successful On Air with Ryan Seacrest is currently heard on more than 170 stations worldwide, including major U.S. cities such as New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Detroit. Internationally, the program can be heard in such markets as Toronto, Vancouver, Johannesburg, Singapore, Dubai, Beirut, Cape Town, Namibia and others.

Nationally syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications, the four-hour music and entertainment news program airs Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time. Broadcasting from his E! Studios in Hollywood, Seacrest focuses on all aspects of the entertainment industry, highlighting and interviewing top talent from the worlds of music, film, and television. In addition, listeners can visit to interact and connect with the show and get their daily entertainment and lifestyle news. The site features photos, videos and social networking.

American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest continues to be the number one countdown show in the U.S. and can be heard on nearly 500 radio stations worldwide including markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Singapore, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Beijing and many others. For the past five years, Seacrests local radio show on KIIS-FM/Los Angeles has been the most-listened-to program in Southern California (Source: Arbitron, FA'04 to JAN'10, MSA & PPM, Cume, MF 6-10, P 12+) and consistently wins every female demo from 12-17 to 25-34 (Arbitron, FA04 to JAN10, MSA & PPM, AQH, MF 6-10A).

With his thriving broadcasting career and multiple ventures in media, Ryan Seacrest is at the forefront of entertainment media. While hosting and producing multiple television and radio programs, building his Ryan Seacrest Productions banner (RSP) into a viable entity creating content for all media platforms and myriad brand ventures, Seacrest is redefining what it means to be an entrepreneur and a quadruple threat in Hollywood. Seacrest was honored when he was nominated for an Emmy award in the "Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program" category for his work on "American Idol" in 2008 and 2009. Seacrest was also added to the list of greats who have hosted the prestigious Emmy awards in both 2007 and 2008. Seacrest now holds preeminent positions in the worlds of broadcast television, nationally syndicated radio, local radio and cable. He is already celebrated internationally as host of the top-rated primetime talent showcase "American Idol" and the world's most popular radio countdown show, "American Top 40," as well as his market-topping #1 nationally syndicated LA morning drive-time radio show for Clear Channel's 102.7 KIIS-FM. Additionally, Seacrest executive produces and co-hosts "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest," which has spiked networks ratings and consistently won the night for viewership since his involvement with the show.
