Kane moved to Tampa, Fla., in 1998 to host the evening show on WFLZ/93.3 FLZ. Within the first year, The Extreme Show with Kane spread to 17 cities nationwide, five nights a week. In March 2003, Kane was named host of the legendary Open House Party, a live, Sunday night program that was nationally syndicated in more than 150 markets. He later returned to 93.3 FLZ where he served as program director and afternoon host. In October 2006, Kane joined Hot 99.5 in Washington, D.C., as host of The Kane Show. The morning program is currently ranked #1 in the market with Adults 18-34. While continuing to host that successful program, he also hosts an afternoon show of the same name, which can be heard in several markets as well as XM Satellite Radio. In March 2010, he joined Premiere Radio Networks as host of Club Kane, a nationally syndicated Sunday night music radio program.

Kane received the 2009 FMQB "Morning Show of the Year" Award in the CHR category, and previously won a Radio Music Award for "CHR Air Personality of the Year" and A.I.R. Awards for "Best Evening Drive Show" and "Best New Talent."
